Tyler M Reid, Producer, 25 year old filmmaker pursuing his Master of Fine Arts in Filmmaking at the Savannah College of Art and Design. During his time at SCAD Tyler has produced commercials and thesis films among other projects. Under his newly found production company Reid Films, he will be producing multiple music videos, a feature length film and a slue of transmedia projects. Tyler also brought the 48 Hour Film Project to Savannah and is in his 2nd year of producing the competition. He is one of two Co-Founders of 16 by 9: Film Collective, an organization built around collaboration within SCAD and Savannah via filmmaking. It is the largest, fastest growing and most ambitious organization to come out of SCAD. Tyler plans on taking this vast knowledge and background forward to more bold and ambitious projects, constantly finding ways to perfect the way independent films are made and the expansive world of transmedia.
