About Me

I grew up in Bucks County, PA, where I directed my first feature, Lusting for Dust Words, several shorts, and freelanced as a camera assistant. My short film Via Bicycles was a 2006 Eastman Scholars finalist and received a Motion Picture Association Award. My current feature film, The New Year Parade, was one of ten projects selected for the 2007 IFP Narrative Rough Cut Labs and was awarded the Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative at Slamdance 2008. I am currently working toward his MFA at Temple University.

Happy New Year
Tom Quinn's Role: Tom wrote, directed, shot, and edited The New Year Parade. The crew was very small and on most days included Tom and Mark Doyle, who did most of the lighting, sound, and some B camera on top of additional editing.
