THIS IS A LOVE STORY is a movie about Blake and Molly Hathaway who have both found themselves in extra marital affairs, only to have their infidelity bring them back togethersort of.

 

Well, that's the quick description. Now here is the long one.

Just kidding: I am not going to ruin the movie for you. What kind of person do you think I am?

We are making a film about sexual politics in a modern relationship. What does that mean? you ask? Well, were making a film about a bunch of good people who happen to be cheaters. Why THAT subject? you ask? Because its complicated, fascinating, and, as heartbreaking as it can be, its also kind of funny.

As of October 1, I am 33 years old and still figuring it all out. Which means, chances are, we are all still figuring it out. Relationships are never as simple as the way they were in the first few weeks. If they were, all we would be doing is having sex and telling our friends how happy we are.  No matter how much we learn, we still make choices, (on purpose or otherwise), that will screw it all up. I dont know if its to fight for understanding, to be relevant, or because we are all a bunch of idiotsbut I do know this: we keep trying and keep trying and damn, do we keep trying.

So, This is a Love Story.
