“The Death of Tempo” stars David Haverty as “Mike Freeman/Tempo” who in the beginning of the story is a carefree happy go lucky musician with a part time job at a local taco stand where he works with the girl of his dreams.
Things take a turn for the worse when Mike gets fired from his job and is forced into a life of permanent temporary employment; he becomes a manic-depressive shell of a man who relies on his self-medicating with prescription pills and other vices.
He soon finds himself in a mind numbing never ending routine which he cannot escape, he becomes trapped in his own world of despair fighting a constant daily battle between himself and his life’s surroundings.
Everything he sees, does or encounters he hates. Everything he does leads up to the same conclusion of “The Death of Tempo”.
