Patti came of age in the 70’s era, drove the same VW for 19 years, so is seriously poised to make Bitten by the Bug.
Her showbiz career began as a performer/director in musical theatre; touched down in the jazz music biz as a promoter/manager; honed guerilla ‘field video production’ chops for the corporate world; to finally settle (if you can call it that!) in film and television production, after going back to school in her mid 40’s to obtain her Film Production BFA.
There were always forays into the food world as a waitress, bartender, beer slinger, cheese maker, bread baker, food stylist and alfalfa sprout entrepreneur, among other foodie adventures.
In between film and TV projects, Patti travels the world in a way she’s coined: Travelling Deep: working for a month or two with a family -for food and a bed - in far flung parts of the world
Patti currently lives and works in Montreal where she is a frequent volunteer on her daughter’s organic vegetable farm, just west of the island.
Bitten By the Bug is her first independent feature documentary.
