Our Story

Sweet Mary & Jane is the brainchild of three young women in LA, who after feeling entirely uninspired by the stories of women their age & the grossly stereotyped minority characters depicted on television, decided to create something original that would truly make a splash!  Vivian Dominguez, Marisa Quintanilla and Jessica Smith developed this project with the intention that at the heart of it, Sweet Mary & Jane would be a TV show that reflects women and minorities in a fresh, fun, non-stereotypical way.

The Impact

Our Mission:  To create an innovative television series that empowers women and promotes diversity with humor, edge, & a sexy style!

Sweet Mary & Jane is a story about a diverse group of entrepreneurial women, presented in a fun, edgy, progressive way. We created these characters to be independent, yet flawed sexy, yet empowered - capable, yet often dumbfounded as they journey to find their way in the world.  Of equal import is that two of our main characters (along with a cast of supporting characters throughout the series) are of ethnic descent, and are represented in a realistic, truthful way that challenges traditional stereotypes.

What We Need & What You Get

Heres what we need folks.  We need $5000 bucks.  At LEAST! 

$5000.00 will cover expenses in shooting a short Pilot Presentation to be used in our formal Pitch to the networks.  It will be used in hiring crew and renting equipment that we cannot otherwise beg, borrow, or steal.

$15 - says you're "Sweet!"  - you get lots & lots o' good karma & warm fuzzies!!

$25 - says you're "Sweet as PIE!" - you get all the above PLUS a Thank You credit on our website!

$50 - gives you a "Sugar High!" - you get all the above PLUS a signed 5x7 photo of the cast!

$100 - says you're "Magically Delicious!" - you get all the above PLUS a signed Show Poster! 

$300 - says you're "Lusciously Lavish" - you get all the above PLUS a Thank You on the closing credits of our Pilot Episode! 

$1000 - says "YOU TAKE THE CAKE!" - you get all the above plus an ASSOCIATE PRODUCER CREDIT, EXTRA EXTRA good karma, and oodles and OODLES of super warm fuzzies!!!!!   :-D
