Superhero 9 to 5 is a comedy about the everyday life of being a Superhero.

Ask your self a question- If you were a Superhero what would you do? How do you pay your bills? What kind of car would you drive? What would happen if you stubbed your toe, off-duty?

“Superhero 9-5” follows a cast of Superheroes that work the “9 to 5 Shift” at Super Corp in the middle of New-Metra-Gothopolis. Every day they get up and go to work and face new “every-day” life obstacles. A lot of the humor comes from the simple things that even you, I and everyone else face every day… on top of being a Superhero! Things like overdraft fees in their bank accounts, having bad food service and even getting car-jacked are just a few examples that bring in the every day life to this group.

We take reference from and make fun of a lot of known pop cultures… and then add a little twist to make it funny. Superhero 9-5 has the “push the envelope” comedic feel that has been quite influenced by: Family Guy, Batman (1970’s Adam West), South Park and Venture Brothers. The story lines are quite humorous, edgy and yet ridiculously funny ;p

We are a team that has been working to develop the characters, sets, stories and animatics to prepare for a cartoon series. But we have nobody in the animation field.

So far we have all the character designs, bios and 6 fully complete and registered scripts (Episodes 1-6) and 8 more outlined and still continuing working on.

As for Superhero 9 to 5 the main agenda for us personally is to make fun of as many things as we possibly can while using superheroes of course. ;)
