Our Story
'Our mission at Yellow Fever Productions, is to put new
Northern Irish film-makers in the spotlight, and give those who truly deserve
the chance, a go at making it big. In 2000, I turned down a chance in Hollywood
simply because I dislike the way they make films, and found that they weren't
open to giving fresh talent more of a start. With YFP my plan is to break catch
22, and give those without experience, the chance to gain it'
George Clarke.
As well as nearly 100 shorts, promos and other videos, Yellow Fever have now made 3 award winning feature films, Battle of the Bone, The Knackery, and, The Last Light, all picking up coveted awards at the Horror Fest Awards in Florida... and all made on next to no budgets...
With Splash Area though, we desperately would like to get some money behind it, ensuring a much larger distribution and a top quality film.
Unfortunately, during the London riots, Yellow Fever and many other independent production companies lost nearly our entire stock of films, with the help of this funding we can start to get back on track again.
The Impact
We are all about exposing fresh new talent, and giving people a chance where they might not have had it before, with proper funding, leading the proper distribution, we can bring the spotlight to the Northern Ireland indie market, and help our cast and crew show their talents to the world! we plan to have up to 100 extras in this film as well as a strong leading cast, and most of them have not had an opportunity like this before; we want to help them realise their dreams, and make it on the silver screen!
We are very proud of what has been created so far on no-budget, everyone's hearts and soles have went into each production, but with funding we know we can up our game once more and do even better!
What We Need & What You Get
Every penny raised will go towards this film, the more we can raise the better but literally even the smallest donations are so much appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. The money will go towards all aspects of making the film and getting it out there into the public eye, hopefully giving our new young talents a bit of a wage for it too. As well as knowing you have our eternal gratitude, and knowing you are part of something big, we would like to give a little bit of a perk too... (see below)
Other Ways You Can Help
