Our Story

We started as a local media company unveiling social injustices without corporate sponsors and corporate interest. Our ultimate goal is to reach a common morality and to protect our Bill of Rights from being deteriorated. We've done several short documentaries covering a range of topics such as, 'Snails In The Gutter Lane' and 'Bum On A Bologna Sandwich'.

In our quest to unveil issues in the system it became clear that corrupt law enforcement is a major concern in Miami. A little too clear for comfort actually... It appears that holding up a camera documentary style is not allowed when the police are present. Evidently law enforcement is uncomfortable with the truths that cameras reveal. The fact remains that police are public figures; therefore they should always be accountable for their actions and should never be able to oppose transparency. Why be afraid of the camera if it only tells the Truth?

We are currently editing two documentaries, 'Man Vs. Pig' and 'Run From Popo' that will help bring more accountability and transparency to law enforcement in Miami and encourage citizens to protect and exercise their rights, particularly the 1st and 4th Amendments. Both documentaries confront unjust byproducts of The Patriot Act that are slowly deteriorating the Bill of Rights and changing the foundation on which this country was built. We are also working in the community to bring awareness of these issues and to support a largely immigrant population in knowing their rights and exercising their freedoms.

The Impact

After releasing some of our footage on youtube.com we have received encouraging feedback from viewers who have encountered similar injustices. We feel that this campaign needs to be a grassroots effort involving all residents of Miami. In order to discuss these issues and organize a base for solutions we plan on going door-to-door selling the documentaries. This will provide a platform for a real discussion with the true majority and help us to raise funds to take this campaign nationwide.

It seems that many of us have forgotten how those who preceded us had to stand up to acquire the rights that we have today, and how it is up to Us to keep fighting for them. If we don't use them, they don't exist.

What We Need & What You Get

Most of the contributions will go towards purchasing a 2004 15 passenger Econoline Van that will be used to transport a canvassing crew of 15 that will touch every door in Miami. The cost of the van is $12,900.

Aside from the van $2,000 to cover fuel expenses and training materials.

If the goal is not reached we will invest in a smaller vehicle and, in result, have a smaller team.

If we surpass the goal we would like to invest in a double decker bus, convert it to biodiesel, and take our campaign across the country.

Other Ways You Can Help

So many ways to participate!!

First and foremost, Know Your Rights and Use Your Voice, as much as possible when witnessing injustice.

If you are carrying a camera, even better! Use it! We encourage citizens to carry cameras at all times, especially in their vehicles, and to Not Be Afraid to Film Authority figures! It Is Our Right to do so.

Speak to your neighbors, friends, family, coworkers, and children about how and why we have our freedoms and how we can protect them. Education is key.

Start a campaign in your own city if you feel compelled. It's up to Us.
