We formed Sandy Girls Films over the summer of 2008 while writing ideas down on the beach and turning them into a series of shorts. As an art director and photographer both based in New York City, we are new to the film business but not to visual communication. Translating our life perspective into the dimensional world of film excites us and feels like the natural progression of our storytelling style. By mixing image, sound, poetry, and metaphor, we hope to provoke thought and transcendence through the medium of filmmaking. Here comes the sand.
