A non-profit endeavor, Sands of Silence has partnered with From the Heart Productions, a 501(c)3 organization so all contributions are tax deductible.

The film team's track record, including Academy Award editor Kate Amend and Academy Award nominee Vicente Franco, ensures that your contribution catalyzes true change.    

Aired at film festivals and on international T.V., Chelo's previous films plus her leadership role spear-headed spin-off non-profit initiatives for sex-trafficking survivors in Asia and the Americas (The Masala Project in Nepal and Human Trafficking Survivors Foundation in the U.S.)  Her film and social change game have already garnered the interest of the PBS public broadcasting television and Latino Public Broadcasting, as well as from a wide array of non-profit organizations such as the John Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health, Equality Now, CAST L.A., the Feminist Majority Foundation, the National Council of Jewish Women, Global Slavery Remembrance Day, Freedom & Justice Coalition, Costa Rica Salvando Corazones, and many, many more. Chelo, who speaks five languages, has also learned to speak the 21^st Century’s language of our teens and offers them the tools to fight slavery since an early age via her social impact game and web-based tools to initiate them in digital and real world activism.
