My name is Carla and I am a seeker of truth. My journey in this life has been filled to the brim with pain, joy, and self-discovery.

I was born with the gift of singing. There was no money for voice lessons so, I taught my self by imitating sound. I taught myself to dance by putting on socks, dancing on a high polished floor, while giving my whole body over to the music. I found out early in life that if you have the love and passion to do something, you can achieve it.
Years later after singing professionally with Paul Anka, Barry Manilow… I was asked to write a children’s book. I had no idea that the answer “yes” would change my life forever.
I had dabbled a little here and there with writing poety, music with lyrics, however, I had never in my wildest dreams thought I could write a children’s book, let alone be an author. However, if your going to get in a boat you might as well take the whole journey down river to the ocean.
Now, I am pleased to say in February of 2oo6 I became a published author of my first children’s book “What’s On The Other Side Of The Rainbow?” and CEO of my own publishing company Harmony Soup Inc. During that time I have done 218 book signings! My book is in public libraries, and public schools world wide. I am also working with several non-profits, and have had the priviledge of meeting a few celebrities along the way.

I have always loved to read and watch movies. When I was a child it was the way I escaped from my abused child-hood. I am thankful to say, today, after going through an exstensive inward journey of healing, I have no more abuse in my life. However, I still love to read and watch movies. So, with the inspiration from my first book, I decided to write a movie script. What an amazing, eye opening, experience that turned out to be. However, I am thankful to say that with a few angels help I have written my first movie script! It is based on my book “What’s On The Other Side Of The Rainbow?”. I have also found a wonderful producer. She agreed to read my script. I should hear from her soon! I am over-joyed :-)
I continue to write and have completed 12 more books.

My deepest wish is that all violence ends and we learn to live on this Earth in peace and harmony.
