XII - The Album

"XII" The Album (set to be released Spring 2013).

We did a great job with the last campaign and I'm back for the 2nd and LAST time in this 11th hour to get a final push with making the album. I really appreciate ALL of the love and support I recieved before. It's means so much. We are getting VERY close to having this album complete. I'm 10 of 12 songs into the project and I have to cross some t's and dot some i's on those 10 and finish the last two. Then to mixing, mastering, pressing. After that... TO YOUR EARS!!!

Welcome to my Indiegogo Campaign Page. I'm glad you are here to help me realize a dream, one that I've had for some time now, come true. As some of you know, I've produced and performed on records for Vickie Winans, Jadakiss, Janet Jackson, Lin Rountree, Lalah Hathaway, Pharoahe Monch, L.J. Reynolds, Jay Electronica, Eric Roberson, Gene Dunlap and countless others, but now it's time for me to share MY music with the world.

While I have had the privilege to produce many successful songs for other artists, it’s time for me to debut my solo work as a Producer and Musician... to show the man behind the music, and the heart and soul that I pour into all of my productions and performances. 

So... let me explain the vision a bit. I'm from Detroit. Motown!! Detroit has always been known for its great music (Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, The Temptations, Anita Baker, etc.), but it seems to me that people have forgotten that Detroit is a great city of music with some of the best musicians in the world.

What I'm intending to do is, be a catalyst for some of those great musicians. I've built a lot of relationships with "established" artists in the industry, and I want my fellow musicians to reap the benefits of that. By teaming them with those more established artists, they will be heard. That is my goal -- to shine light on musicians in Detroit again.

Now of course, light will shine on me because I'm the Producer of the record, but this is about my musician family and less about me. While I've been in the process of recording this album, I haven't thought one time about how much money I will make from it, or how famous I could potentially become. I just want the world to know that Detroit still ranks as one of the top cities in the world when it comes to music.

The money you donate will be used for the remainder of the production of my record; musician fees, studio time, mixing, mastering, and pressing. The monies from the previous campaign have run out, and I need YOUR help once again to help me make this dream a reality.

I want people to hear good music again, to demand more musical and artistic arrangements from mainstream artists… will you join me?
