Why?

Taking writing courses and speaking with many young writers, I have found out that an air of pessimism arises when the word "publication" is said. I however do not share that view. I have decided to publish the best works of myself, and other authors to show that independent authors can share their works throughout the world.

What We Need & What You Get

We need a total of $750 to print the book in a soft cover format. If you do not want a copy (Who wouldn't) you can donate $1 and $5 to our cause, which is still awesome of you. For $15 You get a signed book by the authors with little notes written throughout the book for you. $50 will give you 2 copies said above and dedicated to someone else if you'd like. AND swag by the publication company (Perler bead bowties, Bottle cap Badges, etc).

However if we do not reach your goal you get your well donated money back with no copy of "Wasted"... very sad.

The Impact

Quite honestly I am sick of how pessimistic people are about self publishing. So my goal is to light the fire under other authors and get them to show the world their works. I am very touched by stories I read, mainly novels, and I have come to the conclusion that a book doesn’t need to be published on a worldly scale to touch a person.

Who Does The Work?

Sangine Publications. Sangine started as a web-comic company between Samuel Spiering and Alex Prickersgill. Since then it has grown to a way for students and young people to find places to be published. Both Mr. Pickersgill and Mr. Spiering are staying on this project as editors.
