Volantor is an independent, investigative documentary about inventor Paul Moller and the history of Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) vehicles and roadable aircraft or, in more colloquial terms, flying cars.
The film will also shine a light on the introduction of automation into the aviation industry and discover what it will mean for the future of the pilot and civilization. A transportation revolution is upon us and a handful of courageous individuals may lead us to a fast approaching future. We hope this film will inspire others to pursue their dreams amidst all adversity and criticism.
The Fundraising Goal
Our last fundraising campaign allowed us to gather important interviews and exciting footage as we started production. However, our filmmaking journey is not yet complete. We've put tens of thousands of dollars of sweat equity in this film already, but we need your continued support to help us reach our ultimate goal of a completed feature film.
Our current goal is to raise at least $5,000. This will allow us to continue documenting the inventors and designers who have devoted their entire lives making the flying car dream a reality.
We plan to get additional interviews with members of NASA, IEEE, Boeing, the Sweeney family (Owner's of Molt Taylor's Aerocar), Congress, flying car designers and Paul's colleagues. Additional money raised will help us complete post-production (editing, sound design, music composition). Your donation is tremendously appreciated and will give us filmmakers the ability to continue to pursue our dreams. Thank you for your support!
