VITAMIN Z - About the series:

You think drugs are addictive? Try getting hooked on zombie meat.

Vitamin Z is set in the post-apocalyptic future where zombies have rule of the land. Like any other zombie show, our survivors are searching for food, water, shelter and other survivors. The difference is that these survivors no longer want to suffer without hope, they decide to do something different and feed on the zombies. There are some unexpected results from this feeding, some are beneficial to the survivors, some are not, but the end result is that the zombies now have something to fear.

There are so many elements that will be going into this series, but we cannot divulge them all without giving away too much. You will have to watch and see.

HOUSE OF DON PRODUCTIONS - About the company:

House of DON Productions is a DBA for its multimedia parent company The House of D.O.N., Inc. The main goal at the House of DON is to be creative and bring new elements to everything it creates. This includes the film projects that are currently in the works. House of DON Productions is currently working on the "Vitamin Z" web series along with a feature film called "Leverage". It is also a yearly contributor to Mustache May. They have created several music videos and a short film for this special month and will be releasing another work in May of 2013.

Above all else, the House of DON is passionate about what it does and wants to continue down a path of excellence. It is not just a make shift company, it is accredited y the Better Business Bureau and reaches out to the community as well. House of DON Productions has offered services to the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation, Junior Achievements, and is currently putting together a non-profit organization that will provide an event called the Clean Scene Music Festival. The festival will directly impact the community by offering substance abuse and bullying awareness to youth, while providing a fun, interactive, encouraging and safe environment.

THE TIMELINE - Scheduled Shoots:

We will begin filming episode 1 of Vitamin Z on December 9, 2012. We will then move through the holidays planning the rest of our shoots for season 1. The entire 1^st season will consist of 8 episodes. We will be filming a few times a month until all production is wrapped up.

We should have the 1^st episode finalized and ready for viewing by the first or second week of February and then will release a new episode every other week for the duration of the season.

We will have the complete 1^st season complete and on DVD before the season wraps up on the Internet. Which means that if you are to receive the complete season 1 on DVD for your contribution, then you will have shows that no one has yet scene.

OUR GOAL - Our vision with the project:

Our main goal to create a web series that people can watch for free and completely enjoy. We would like to continue this for a long time into the future, building on the story, the characters and within the production value.

Eventually we would like to reach a pinnacle with the series and get noticed by a big boy studio and hopefully bring it to a bigger level. To make it that far we will need your help.

OUR NEEDS - What we need to create this project:

We need a lot but not much at all.

What this means is that we are filming this series no matter what. We are beginning production prior to even completing our Indiegogo campaign. It is about the creative process, not how much money we have.

However, money is beneficial. The more money we can obtain from our campaign, the more money we can put into our project.

We have a projected budget of approximately $9,900 for the 1^st season. We are not asking for nearly that much within our campaign, but are hopeful that we may exceed our campaign goal. The following will discuss the breakdown of what we need and what we want.

What we need:

• Equipment: Generator, camera boom rig and camera accessories. ($1,000)
• Location: We have discovered a great location to film the series in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. This location is not free. We will have a fee to pay each time we use this location and would like to acquire funds to do so. (Season total $1,000)
• Makeup and zombie props: We all know that there is a lot of makeup and props involved in a zombie series. The more money we have to spend on these, the better the outcome with the look of our zombies. We want to make those zombies look sick, and need the money to do so. (Projected season total $1,000)
• Special effects: No zombie series would be complete without some special effects. Granted, in the digital age we can do a lot of the effects in post-production, but we would like to have a budget for some real-time effects. It would bring more to the visual aspect of the project. (Projected season total $700)
• Permits and other fees: The City of Las Vegas is hospitable when it comes to filming projects, but they still need their fees and insurance policies covered. We want to be within the legal right to use some public property in and around the site where we plan to film "Vitamin Z". (Projected season total $600)

What we want:

• Lighting: House of DON Productions has lighting for its filming projects, but would like to upgrade to a more studio-quality lighting set up. ($3,000)
• Sound: Like the lighting, we are equipped with on location sound, but again, we would love to be able to upgrade this equipment. ($2,000)

$253 – Addicted with super-powers: Get flowers sent to yourself, the complete 1^st season on DVD***, and a signed copy of all the scripts from Season 1. Plus, be casted in the series as an actual reoccurring character.^ (None of the other perks will be rewarded)

$322 – Zombie hunter: Be rewarded with everything already mentioned ("thank yous", sticker, vitamin bottle*, T-shirt, Season 1 DVD***, poster (minus the frame), flowers to a special someone, cast as an extra; and a time capsule with various memorabilia from the series; and an extra "thank you" in the credits. Plus, you can create the idea or write an episode for Season 2****.^

$400- Detox: Get the limited edition director’s chair***** (with the "Vitamin Z" graphic and your name on it) and the complete Season 1 on DVD***.^ (None of the other perks will be rewarded)

$619 – Turned: Everything mentioned, a limited edition director’s chair***** (with the "Vitamin Z" graphic and your name on it), co-executive producer with title rights on the movie poster and in the credits. and 1 free video service for up to 5 minutes of finalized product******.^

^All rewards for your contribution are subject to cancellation if your contribution is returned. Reward items will begin to be released upon completion of their production. Items such as magnets, posters and T-shirts will go into production right away; other items will be subject to the production of the film. Alternative  rewards may be rewarded in the place of certain items depending on conflicts with distributors.

*"Vitamin Z" vitamin bottles will not contain any actual vitamins. House of DON Productions waived all responsibilities if recipients do not monitor or manage the safety of their households. Meaning, do not put anything hazardous or dangerous in these bottles without warning others.

**"Vitamin Z" episode 1 DVD will not be made available until after the last episode of season 1 is complete.

***"Vitamin Z" complete Season 1 DVD will not be made available until after all post-production work for Season 1 is complete and all festival submissions have been made.

****Write an episode of "Vitamin Z" for Season 2. Your ideas will have to be approved and fit the overall story line of "Vitamin Z". Someone will help you to stay within our guidelines, but the creative power will be yours.

*****Director’s chairs will be limited to a total of 15 possible chairs.

******Video service can be used for personal or commercial use. House of DON Productions will help you create and produce a video of your choice. You can use this service for your business, a personal event, or just for whatever you like. You can even send us your own creative ideas for a short film and have us turn it into a video for you.(Finalized product cannot exceed 5 minutes.)
