Short Summary

Strengthening capacity for 40 poor farmers about technical beekeeping and sustainable livehoods. They are selected from members of sustainable agriculture communities and credit unions in Keansvay district, Kandal province. They are still lack of knowledge and need some fund from FLIFLY for their beekeeping. There are 40 poor farmers comprising 20 men and 20 women that really need FLIFLY's staff to conducting the training on technical beekeeping and sustainable livelihoods at FLIFLY's office.

What We Need & What You Get

After the training, they will get the knowledge about technical beekeeping and getting fund from this cause to buying wood and bee for their beekeeping. They will get more income through their beekeeping to supporting their families and children education. They will continue training for their relatives and children to earn incom as same as them.

The Impact

40 poor farmers will get knowledge about technical beekeeping, bee boxes and getting more income to reduce their poverty. This campaign will help them to be better life in the future. It is contribute to the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (Goal 1: Eradicate Extreme Hunger and Poverty, Goal 2: Achieve Universal Primary Education, Goal 3: Promote Gender Equality and Empower Women and Goal 7: Ensure Environmental Sustainability).
