Free Comic Book Day is Saturday, May 4th!
To help celebrate the annual event, we’ve decided to release a free PDF preview featuring a couple of stories from True Patriot. We hope that you, our funders, will enjoy this advance look at the book you helped make happen. You of course will get a look at this material before anyone else (likely the week before Free Comic Book Day)!
But we’ll also be sharing the preview with the general public (likely on the eve of Free Comic Book Day) in the hopes that it will get people buzzing about True Patriot in advance of its July release. Pre-selling a few extra copies of the book wouldn’t hurt either ;)
So please stay tuned for our next update which should have a link to the preview PDF and hopefully also information on where you might find some of our creators on Free Comic Book Day.

I’m happy to report that our creative teams have started to turn in their comic pages, and things are looking spectacular. We’re a tad behind schedule but we hope to make up for lost time and still have the book ready for Canada Day (or thereabouts). Postcards should be in the mail to funders next week. Bookplates will be distributed to the artists doing the sketches soon thereafter. We’ll try to post pictures or scans as they’re done and sent back to True Patriot HQ.
