TORCHES have plans to record a brand new EP. This new EP (LIMITED CD RELEASE) will consist of 4-5 songs that the band have been kicking around live. These are songs that we hold very close to our hearts. The three of us just returned from our first full US Tour, making this our fourth tour to date and we've grown so much as friends, artists, and musicians. People have been responding well to hearing these songs being played live and what better time then for us to record them.
By making a contribution you are becoming a part of our recording and creative process. With your help we will be able to take the band to the next level such as more extensive touring across the US and overseas. It is our dream to share our music and craft with many people from all walks of life. We are doing exactly what we want with our lives and we still have a long haul ahead. This release (CD) will be limited to ONLY contributors of this campaign......and will NOT be available online, in-stores or shows until we find the right label. We have plans to give away a free track and these songs will be released in the future on a larger scale...just wait. Thanks!
The EP will be recorded and engineered by David Newton who did our last album, Heads Full of Rust and it will be Mastered by Jeff Lipton (Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, LCD Soundsystem, The Magnetic Fields Lightning Bolt and more).
