UPDATE: We have reached our goal! Thank you so much for everyone who helped us reach our goal by contributing and promoted us all through out this campaign. We honestly would have not done it without you guys, we really really thank you! For those of you who don't know that most of this money will all go to production costs. This money will really help us pay for equipment rental (camera package, lighting, rigs, etc), crew, special fx make-up, props, production insurance, and location fees. The Will is an emotionally driven survival short on what one man would do in order to save the woman he loves.
Will is racing to meet his beloved fiancee, struggling to keep himself alive and the others he meets along the way. His journey is not without sacrifice, he knows that any wrong decision could mean getting to her too late.
Who We Are:
We're GFY Productions, a group of young independent filmmakers who love doing what we do on set. We're composed of artists, writers, and filmmakers who have collaborated to work on this short film. As filmmakers we want to bring you the quality you expect, and in order for that to happen, we would need your support and kind contributions.
Dillon Kinkead (Director)
Dillon Kinkead is currently a student at California State University, Los Angeles where he is getting his degree in Television, Film, and Media Studies. He was born and raised in Southern California where he developed his love of telling stories. Dillon has two Associate of Arts degrees, Anthropology and Film Production, from Fullerton College. His major emphasis is in directing yet he has dabbled in production and writing.
Cruz Castillo (Creator/Writer)
Cruz Castillo is a Los Angeles born native who has been involved in the entertainment industry since the age of five. Cruz has worked on many projects ranging from acting to producing and wishes to branch out to other artistic aspects. He is a graduate from Fullerton College with two Associate of Arts degrees in Arts & Human Expression and Social Sciences. He is currently a student at California State University, Los Angeles where he is getting his degree in Communication and English.
Jeremy Reyes (Writer)
After serving 4 years in the military, Jeremy Reyes decided to turn his lifelong love of movies into a career of filmmaking. He started out learning the basics of production at the renowned Saddleback Community College in South Orange County. After struggling for years to find his place on set, Jeremy discovered his passion for acting and writing. In 2012 he moved to Los Angeles, where he joined the film program at California State University, Los Angeles. He is currently continuing his education, as well as writing and acting in various productions.
Lucas Pitassi (Director of Photography)
A northern California native, Luke traveled down to LA to pursue his dreams of working in the film industry. Luke is a California State University, Los Angeles graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Television, Film, and Media Studies. Since then he has worked in the industry as a lighting technician and gaffer. Luke is a master of lighting and camera work and his primary focus is Director of Photography.
Kyle Go (Producer)
Kyle started out his filmmaking career when he started volunteering on student films. From there he was able to meet more like minded filmmakers. Through his networking, he was able to get more involved into filmmaking. He graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a degree in Psychology, and now plans on going back to school to further his education in filmmaking. The first project that he ever worked on, and produced, was the first short film developed by GFY Productions entitled "Inside".
The Impact and The Game Changer:
A lot of independent filmmakers usually don't get much recognition they deserve because they lack the funding and support. With no recognition means it will be harder for them to establish themselves. But we're here to change that. With your support and contributions your giving hope to a lot of independent filmmakers out there to keep doing what they do best and to keep pursuing their dreams.

As of now we're still in the process of pre-production (planning phase) we're still organizing everything in terms of budgeting and what we would still need for this project. Here are the general list of what we need to pay for:
