By helping throught this site, every dollar goes to help an American family survive a nightmare, and attempt to get back on their feet. They did not ask for this situation, but are now forced to deal with it. Please help in any way you can. There is no true goal. Every dollar matters. This is not a fixed campaign. ANYTHING & EVERYTHING HELPS! There are no perks, here. Not sure how one would even be given. This is just about goodness in people's hearts.

The Nightmare Backstory

My name is Josh and I am setting this up for my boss and best friend Tony G., his wife and three children. Tony is currently imprsioned in La Joya Carcel in Panama. His family has been left with little to nothing in the wake of this madness.

The family saved up for years to open a restaurant in a tropical paradise, Panama. Everything started off well enough, until the corrupt nature of the country reared its ugly head. 

Tony was unjustly "set-up" so that there was a legal means for his business to be "seized" by someone who had corrupt political connections. To this point, Tony has been in prison for over a year in one of the "worst prisons on the planet". It is completely inhumane!

Life since his imprisonment has been a steady spiral into hell. Kristy and her children have pretty much lost or had to sell most of their possessions, as they were removed from their apartment. They have been staying in a hostel. They were robbed at gunpoint in a robbery attempt at the restaurant. The three children have been held out of school for the year as there is no Englsih speaking schools for free, and private schools are just too expensive. Lawyers have taken advantage of the situation as they saw American dollar signs and stole from them. THERE HAVE EVEN BEEN DEATH THREATS!!

Tony is deteriorating in prison and the family has nowhere to turn. Even the American Embassy has contributed very little to helping the family.

Kristy and her family have always been charitable, contributing to many causes. Now that they are in this position, they could really use some help & support.

This family have lost everything in a country that takes advantage if Americans. Robbed of their business, savings, husband's freedom and children's education...THEY ARE DESPERATE IN A FOREIGN COUNTRY!
