"The Thrive Benefit Concert" is an evening where we will be celebrating my debut album to benefit domestic violence awareness for Safe Passage 501 (c)3.
Every single song and lyric on this album is handcrafted to be Uplifting, Conscious Spreading, Hip Spiritual Music to support us all in moving forward in our lives. Music speaks directly to our emotions bypassing the mind gently swaying us in one direction or another. I am committed to swaying as many people as i can in the direction of the light, goodness and our divinity!

Safe Passage where we take a woman whose been affected by domestice violence. The picture above is a Self Defense camp that i had for some of the ladies of Safe Passage and their children. The second cause is called Operation Skid Row where one of my best friends for over 20 years is turning around the homelessness down on Skid Row slowly but surely but she needs some help. I am also dropping my debut album where 10% of the album sales will go directly to Safe Passage. On January 26th Frisc2 Productions is co-producing "The Thrive Benefit Concert" where 100% of the proceeds from that event will go towards Safe Passage. We would love your support!
SAFE PASSAGE a 501 (c) 3
Safe Passage is an amazing non-profit that i've had the pleasure of working with for the past 5 years. We have an amazing success rate for rebuilding the lives of girls, women and their children who've been affected by domestic violence. 95% Success rate for any woman that goes through our program. We will take a woman from a violent situation, get her to safety, heal her, rebuild her with counseling and classes and help her make the transition into a fully furnished residence of their own. I started off teaching empowerment self defense training for the women and their children but since then it has evolved into serving the organization as vice president. 1/3 of the funds from the campaing will go directly to Safe Passage enabling us to help even more women caught up in this whirlwind of violence.
It is my personal commitment to take this organization to a national level. San Diego being the first leg of our expansion as they are the second highest domestic violence crime rated city in the U.S.
OPERATION SKID ROW
This Project is headed by one of my best friends of over 20 years Octavia Lindlahr. She has an amazing business all parents should know about call Outside the Box, where healthy brains grow! from 3 months on up!
There is a strong misconception about the homeless capital of Los Anegels, referred to as Skid Row. Due to the change in the economy,
there is a rise in population on Skid Row, and it encompasses every walk of life to include, women, children, families, pregnant girls, professionals,
teachers, servicemen, and individuals who just 3 months ago owned their own home. The face of Skid Row has changed dramatically. It was
believed that Skid Row was populated mostly by drug addicts, mentally disabled individuals, and those who chose such a lifestyle. That is simply
untrue. The problem deepens when we add into the equation the lack of services provided by the shelters in the local area. These shelters are
privately and governmentally funded, but provide little to no assistance to the people who need it.
Operation Skid Row is a grass-roots group of individuals passionate about helping those in need.. . with what they need. We are not affiliated with a church or
any other type of organization. What the people on Skid Row may need is defined many ways, and could be a blanket, food, clothing or a bottle of water. However,
sometimes it includes only an ear to listen, and a heart to sympathize. We conduct only "hand-to-hand" donations drops which translates to the action of handing the
people personally what they need. We do not donate to the shelters. The reason for this is because of the extreme problem of internal theft and weakness in infrastrucure.
We will continue to try and work with the shelters, but until they can assure us, and our donors that the people in need actually receive the donations, we will continue
to conduct business as usual, on the streets.
We, at Operation Skid Row are not ignorant to the fact that distributing dsonations is not the key to solving homelessness, and we are aware it is a "temporary fix"
until the politics change. We as a society also need to change our idea of homelessness, and as a community come together to assist these people in need. It will
truly take "a village". Donations are just the beginning to what we hope to accomplish. An important goal of ours is housing, job placement, and most importantly
transplanting the people on Skid Row to another area. This is a tall order, but we are determined, passionate and resourceful souls with strong hearts and solid minds. We will
make a difference.

What We Need & What You Get
What We Need:
We are raising $20,000 to be split 3 ways. 1/3 will go directly to Safe Passage a 501 (c) 3. Funds will go towards helping get women out of these violent situations and towards expanding to San Diego to open our 2nd chapter.
1/3 will go directly to enhancing Operation Skid row where we will be able to rent a storage facility, pay for transportation, and spend the necessarty time and energy into making this a more effective program.
And the last 1/3 will go towards completing my debut album. I will be able to go into the studio, complete 10 songs, pay artists, design, package, get them mixed and mastered, socially promote the album and have an album release party to help promotion efforts as well.
If we raise more that what we need then those funds will go into better promoting the album. Also to continue recording this uplifting, inspiring and conscious music into album #2 baby! If we raise less than what we need then the overall quality of the project will be minimized but it will still get done. Just one a smaller, tighter timeline scale. There's much more pressure involved in doing it with a small budget.
And the bigger picture is that we will really be working towards our Grandeur Vision to do our part to raise the consciousness of this world. We have projects in development with my now good friend Michael Sharp author of "The Book of Life" and many other spiritually prolific books.
What you get:
We have some unique perks like an appearance in one of my video singles, backstage pass, and good ole signed cd's among some other dopeness!
If this album and event is fully funded then we will get to record a super dope inspirational album done how it's supposed to be done! We will also be able to raise funds at the album release party for "Safe Passage" girls, women and their children. 100% of the proceeds of the event will go directly to Safe Passage and Operation Skid Row. Also 10% of the album sales will go to Safe Passage.
Please check out their work no matter what! You will be glad you did.
