Our Story…

Now this is the story all about how

Our lives got flipped, turned upside down

And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there

I'll tell you how we became the owners of The Shoe Clinic

Ok ok…we will not rap our story to the Fresh Prince theme song. It may get a little corny, but we will give you a quick introduction about The Shoe Clinic. 

Sneaker head Alvin Miller first began restoring sneakers as a hobby. Once he saw that he was pretty good (or should I say darn good) he started publicizing his services to other sneaker lovers.

Friend and business enthusiast, Marcie Black, saw his passion and potential for creating a small business. She worked with startups in the past and was ready to create one of her own.

Our Passion…

Can a sneaker head and a startup nerd make it happen? We believe we can!

We are passionate about starting our own company and succeeding. We want people to see our passion and support what we do. Giving a little goes a long way and helps us get a step closer to reaching our dreams.

Your Help…

All of the contributions will go towards purchasing more supplies, updating our website, and marketing. This helps us get a jumpstart on our start up fees and introduce our services nationwide!

The Shoe Clinic Supplies ($200): We always need more cleaning materials, paint, and shipping materials. 

The Shoe Clinic Website ($200): We want to be progressive and innovative, but we also want our website to be fast and easy to use. There’s always room for improvement. This will also go towards the website hosting costs.

The Shoe Clinic Marketing ($350): This may be the biggest part of our budget! In order to get more sales, we need promotional materials. Business cards, flyers, branding, banners, and event items are all in the marketing budget.
