Astronomy is a natural science that deals with the study of celestial objects (such as stars,planets,comets,nebulae,star clusters and galaxies)and phenomena that originate outside the atmosphere of Earth(such as cosmic background radiation). It is concerned with the evolution,physics,chemistry.meteorology and motion of celestial objects,as well as the formation and development of the universe.
The Search for Life DVD campaign will Inform, Educate and Inspire a generation to Explore the Mystery we call the Universe.
The Search for Life DVD will serve as pilot for 1 hour television show called :
The Search for Life hosted by Sheldon Reynolds and Celebrity Guest.

About us
Sheldon Reynolds is most widely known as former lead guitarist and vocalist with the legendary Earth, Wind, and Fire. As a child his passion for Astronomy had a affect on his musical creativity. During that era Reynolds recorded with the group Chicago. His tenure with Earth, Wind & Fire lasted 14 years.Sheldon Reynolds is best-known as lead guitarist and vocalist with Earth, Wind & Fire for 14 years. He even penned one of the legendary group’s hit songs, “Sunday Morning.” Today, he is a noted singer, guitarist, songwriter, and producer working on various projects.
Reynolds has a great passion for music, but he also has a passion for astronomy. He regularly takes his telescope out to local parks to share the wonders of the night sky with his family and friends, and he enjoys astrophotography. In August, Astronomy was pleased to welcome him to the team as a contributing editor. He says the magazine has fulfilled one of his life dreams — to share his love of the stars with a greater audience.

The Impact
The mission of the SETI Institute is to explore, understand and explain the origin, nature and prevalence of life in the universe. We believe we are conducting the most profound search in human history — to know our beginnings and our place among the stars.The SETI Institute is a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to scientific research, education and public outreach.The Institute comprises three centers, the Center for SETI Research, the Carl Sagan Center for the Study of Life in the Universe and the Center for Education and Public Outreach.
The first DVD in the series was Images of Life. Video Premiered at SETI Con and was well received by Jill Tarter, Seth Shostak and Staff at SETI Institute.
