Here's Our Story
Carolyn Grossi is the creative force behind the money managers, and her goal is to inspire one million children (big goal, we know, but we are rockin' and going for it!) and parents to dedicate one year to developing financialy literacy skills.
"When I was little I never really understand the basics of money managing," said Carolyn, now 45, and a mom, wife and entrepreneur. "I want my kids be smart about money and develop wise habits that become second nature to them."
Carolyn, a former journalist and a PR executive, has spent the last few years studying and researching financial literacy. One of the key findings: the earlier you start, the better chance at success.
Inspired by her children, Carolyn, wanted to create something that would engage young children and help them cultivate basic money managing skills in their formative years. Let's face it, kids need to learn this critical skill while they are young, as early as 5. By the time kids reach 11 or 12, they have formed their basic attitude about money.
How We Manage Money Affects Every Aspect of Our Lives
Now more than every, parents need to teach their kids the financial fundamentals of saving, spend wisely and sharing. The financial meltdown of 2008 was a wake up call for all of us.
Enter The Princess Money Manager: The Toy That Inspires Kids to Save, Spend Wisely and Share.
The award-wnning Princess Money Manager was launched to inspire young girls to save, spend wisely and share. Parents loved the bank so much they are now are asking for a customized version that kids can decorate using various themes such as rockstar, ice skater, chess player, dancer, and animal lovers, and make it their own. We also plan to create a Girl Scout prototype to present to the organization.

Parents, Grandparents and Teachers Love it!
We have heard from parents from California to New York City to Minnesota to Ohio. Here's what a few had to say about our products:
"You make it so much easier for me to talk to my girls about money."
Dad of Shaker Heights, who has a 6-year-old and an 8-year-old.
"My son didn’t just like it -HE LOVED THE SUPERSTAR MONEY MANAGER! The book and the bank make it fun for him to learn. Plus, he is really beginning to understand the basics of saving and managing money.”
Mother of two boys, 6 and 4.
“This is the best gift for my daughter. I am thrilled to have a fun way to teach her about money. We need this so bad. I work at a bank and I view people’s credit reports all day long. It’s critical to teach kids now so they are smart about money when they are adults.”
Mom who works at Bank of America.
“The kids are so excited about this money lesson. This is such a great tool to introduce money and money management.”
"This is a great tool to teach young girls."
"When my kids received this bank, they ran all over the house looking for change. Now every time they get money, they really take time to think about what they will do with their money. The fact that they are being thoughtful about how to handle money is thrilling to me. I cannot thank you enough for creating this bank."
Mom of 7 and 9 year old.

Sample of Customized Money Managers
The Princess Money Manager has received rave reviews from all over the country. And now, some parents and buyers are asking for a version that will allow kids to create their own. In order to do that, I will need to purchase additional tooling for a new top, manufacture more banks, and print a variety of adhesives that kids can apply to bank.
Our customization project will also include presenting prototypes to the Girl Scouts and sports companies. By using themes or images that appeal to children, they will become more engaged and interested. Kids learn best when there is an element of fun for them. And studies show, kids who practice good money skills early, will carry those values with them into early adulthood. My hope is they become Money Managing Rockstars.
With you help, we can create a customized version of our coin banks, and help more kids become money managing Rockstars. My ultimate goal is to inspire one million kids to be mini money managers.
In 20 years, we will have added 20 money-smart kids to our economy. And that will have an impact on us all.
