Dear IndieGoGo-ers,

In the last five hours of our campaign, we just wanted to take a moment to express again our gratitude for the love, support, and help you have offered us.

We came to this platform all the way from Taiwan with two possible successful outcomes:

1) To raise $25,000 and be able to build the mold we need to build our cable

OR

2) To get enough exposure for the Orobis Transform that a new strategic partner would gain enough interest to help us carry it forward into production.

Although we haven’t met our funding goals, we still consider this campaign a massive success as it has given us the exposure we needed to meet a new strategic partner, and bring the Orobis into production.

As such, we consider our IndieGoGo campaign to be a huge success, and none of it would have been possible at all without you.

We’re a little dazed, stunned, and overwhelmed that this dream of ours will now become a reality, and we cannot wait to get the Orobis Transform into your hands in May.

We hope that you will love it as much as we do.

And so a final thank you, and if you would like to share the campaign with your Apple friends in its last hours, please feel free to do so by sending them the link to http://indiegogo.com/orobis-transform/

Warm regards, and high fives all around!

Hi there to all of our supporters!

We’re thrilled to be able to announce two miracles that have happened for us in the past week. Thanks to a recent report by c|net, we raised over $2,500 in just two days, and were introduced to a new strategic partner, blowing our goal of $25,000 out of the water. Thanks to our new partner (who wishes to remain anonymous), and the $6,000 we have been able to raise successfully on IndieGoGo, we have the absolute bare minimum amount of capital we need to produce the mold for the Orobis Transform.

Our last task at the moment is to raise some additional money to help facilitate our first production run. Everything we raise from here on out will help us take our design into production more quickly, more efficiently, and help us to deliver your Orobis Cables to you hopefully ahead of schedule.

We cannot express our thanks enough to you for all of the support and love you’ve given us so far, and we need your help to take us through the home stretch now more than ever. Because we live in Taipei, we’re not the best in the world at promoting our product, and so any help you can give us sharing our wonderful news with the world is immensely appreciated. Please take a moment to share our campaign with your friends who use iPhone 5 and the iPad mini – every dollar we raise from now until the end of our campaign will be put directly into making the Orobis better, stronger, and faster.

Best Regards,
The Orobis Transform Team

Hello IndieGoGo-ers!,

We are so happy to be introduced by CNET. Thank you Amanda, and thank you for all of your supports!

Again, it’s our solemn promise to all of our supporters. We will never give up on completing this cable, we’ll deliver the Orobis Transform cables to all of our supporters on IndieGoGo when we are able to successfully build the mold we need to put it into production regardless of whether or not our campaign is funded in full.

Please share our campaign info thru FB, Twitter to more people for supporting us to pull through the home stretch. Every dollar we get makes it that much easier for us to push the cable into production!

Let’s realize the crazy idea for the half-open microUSB together!

Cheers,
The Orobis Transform Team

Hello IndieGoGo-ers!,

We’re thrilled to be able to write to you today with some great news! Over the course of the past week and thanks to all of the positive media coverage and support we’ve received, our factory and parts suppliers have volunteered to supplement the cost of production of the Orobis Transform.

What does this mean exactly?

It means that with our factory’s help, we are offering 1,000 Orobis Transform cables for only $18, normally a $29.99 retail value each.

Our goal is to get our IndieGoGo campaign to $18,000 as quickly as we can, the absolute bare minimum we will need with our factory’s renewed support, to commence work on the mold required for the Orobis Transform!

We recognize that our earliest supporters have not had the option to back us at the $18 level. We’ll be getting in touch with everyone who has backed us to date (by mid February) to provide an exclusive “early supporter” perk to be claimed after the campaign is successfully funded.

We are extremely excited to be able to offer this new $18 perk level, and as always cannot express enough how much your continued support means to us. If you would like to share the link for our campaign page with someone in need of a sleek new charging cable, your family or friends, you can do so by copying the link below into your Facebook or Twitter status:

Thanks so much, and we’ll be in touch again soon!

Cheers,

Hello Indiegogo-ers!

There are a large number of tables and chairs in IKEA. Though their functions are similar, the variety in design presents different styles, additional interesting touches, distinctive aesthetic perceptions, or even certain unique qualities. Likewise, though there are several kinds of 2-in-1, 3-in-1 iPhone cables, those are still for functions. As cables are one of the articles we use daily, why do we not give the cable a better design to bring us an extra joy?

The Orobis Transform is a creative product. The transformer style is our core design concept, and the half-open microUSB is an innovation created for the concept. In fact, the origin of the word “Oroboros” itself has fully reflected our enthusiasm for a unique design, and the multi-equipped connector has exactly substantialized this spirit. We sincerely hope that you like our product not simply because of its convenience but because of the spirit behind the design!

Cheers,
The Orobis Transform Team
