The Go To needs help from YOU!

UPDATE 2:  Hey guys, we are ALMOST there!  We're just about $200 dollars away, and we here at The Go To are so honored from all the support.  I'd really like to just take a second to thank you all; we wouldn't have even been able to come this close if it weren't for you guys.  We really want to personally thank every single one of you.  Because of your support, we are going to be able to afford a lot of the things that we need, and in return, are going to be a better band because of it.  This is all thanks to you, as we are truly honored to have friends, family, and of course, fans as amazing as you.  I am proud to say that we are just one last push away from our goal, so lets do it!  Thank you all so much for everything you've done for us.  This is going to be the first success story in series of many.  

UPDATE:  We're half way there guys, and we're making great time!  We want to thank everyone so much that has helped us out thus far, we cannot express how much we appreciaite it!  So again, thank you all so much!  Lets bring it on home!

Hi!  My name is Mat, lead singer of The Go To,  and I am here to let you know about a few things.  One of those things is that my band mates and I are the luckiest guys in the world right now for more reasons than I can even count!  However, if I had to count, I'm sure it would go a little something like this...

1)    Meeting my incredible band mates!  These guys are truly the best, and it's such an amazing thing when all of us share our passion!  Plus we're all best buds now which is pretty stellar!

2)    Writing and performing great songs that our fans love!  I mean, come on!  When you play a show and the whole crowd is singing back the lyrics that you wrote in your bedroom, it's pretty much the most incredible feeling out there.  How cool is that?!

3)    We got signed to an AWESOME production company, Spirithouse Productions!  They're a top notch professional company with a world class studio.  It's amazing finally getting to hear our songs mature into these incredible recordings.  We are truly blessed to be given this opportunity.

4)    We get to practice our live show over and over again!  That way, every chord, note, and harmony is pitch perfect, so that we can in turn put on the best show we possibly can for you!

So yeah, life is good. We have so many great things going for us and we are heading in the right direction but we can use a little help.

There are a few steps in the process that we know we will have to ask the support of our friends, families, and of course our amazing fans!

In order to be our best and put on a professional show we need some essential tools.  There’s some equipment we need to replace and we need to do a photo shoot to show off our super –cool new look :) and we need funds to build our new website so everyone can keep track of their favorite new band!  We will also need to design and manufacture the NEW EP !!! We are asking all our loyal friends and families to help us out as best they can and we promise to continue to work hard night and day to make this dream a reality.  We can show you and the world what we are capable of!

Please help us in anyway you can, and if you can't help with a few bucks, then please share the link and spread the word.  We truly will appreciate any bit of support you show.  We will be forever grateful for it.  :).

Oh, and of course that is not it... at all.  If you help us like I just explained, we'll have ways to thank you, ways that will make you feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  ;).

We have our BRAND NEW EP, signed posters, T-shirts, personal videos and MORE to go with the sense of bliss you will get from helping out an amazing band reach their fullest potential!

Whatever funds we can raise will be well spent on new musical equipment like guitar pedals to get the kind of sounds we have on our recordings, proper amps that sound pro and new cables that don’t short out in the middle of a show.  We also are building a new look for the band that requires logos, photography and website development and of course the design and production of the EP.  This all costs money!!  If we meet our funding goal we will be able to better reach our longterm goals!   In the amazing scenerio where we make more than our goal, then we will use those funds to promote the band and build our following.

We are willing to do whatever it takes to make this band work. This is what we are meant to do, and this is what we are going to do.  With your help we can make this a reality - it takes a village, right?  Well, lets make this village rock!
