Hello supporters! Getting close to finishing a large batch of helmets for many of those who bought one to support the success of the campaign. I have not been able to stay in touch regularly with everyone so please feel free to check in about the status of your helmet, or, for those of you who still need to, send me your measurements so I can get started on yours! If you sent me your measurements shortly after the first request you should have a lid shipped out to you in the next week or so. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. – Dan

This is a nuts a bolts update. For all of you who purchased helmets and have sent in your measurements and details we are running 4-6 weeks late right now so expect to get your perk late april. For those of you who have not yet sent in your measurements/size please get in touch so we can help make that happen!

All went smoothly and the instruction manual and setup are still happening. In addition, a deposit was put down on the CNC Router. So, those were the two major goals for using the campaign funds and now the trigger has been pulled on both. Already, things feel a lot smoother and like there will be a lot more capacity and versatility.

Hello. Hope all are fighting the good fight through winter and managing to get out and have some fun. The T shirts and Hoodies are shipped off to those folks who helped by buying them. If you haven’t gotten yours make sure you send a note!

As for how project goals are going, well, we have been busy shopping for a cnc router (much to learn here) and are waiting on our new laser to arrive in the next couple weeks. We were able to send in more samples to the testing lab to improve our impact technology and are learning a lot from those. In the meantime we have added a large chainsaw and a couple of critical sanding machines to our arsenal. We have improved some of our CAD designs as well and both these new tools and the new designs are making the helmets easier to make and better formed with more symmetry and thinner, lighter shells.
