Help us complete the pp that will expose the notorious airline practice of bumping people as well as putting some extra cash into USA air travler's pockets. For those who don't know what airline bumping is, bumping is when a airline overbooks a plane - this has become common practice - which then forces the airline to start bumping passengers.

This year  hundreds of millions of dollars will go unclaimed because travelers lack  knowledge of airline bumping policies. Airlines won't come out and tell you your rights, so our App will.  Airlines are quick to offer you a few dollars in travel vouchers. Let's expose the airlines bumping practices and put REAL money in your pocket and every person that gets bumped.

First, to expose the world to the notorious airlines' bumping practices. 13 out 10,000 people get bumped a year in the USA.  It doesn't sound bad but it equates to almost a million people a year. ChumpBump  will help you know your rights and maximize your compensation.


Second, ChumpBump serves to get what the travels what they are entitled to...real compensation, not some lousy travel voucher.

What will the app include?

1) The app will list the bumping policies for each major airline carrier in the USA. So if you get bumped, just use your phone and show the gate agent what you are entitled to.

 2) Share bumping info...if you are bumped you can share  the details of your bumping; the airline, the time, the departure, arrival destinations, and how much you received.

4) The app will allow people to view stats, these stats will be based on input we receive from people using the app including:
-total number of bumping for given day, week, month
-which airline bumped the most people for a given day, week, month
-how much money in bumping were paid out
-which airline paid out the most cash in bumping  for a day, week, month,

5) The enterprise app  will  reveal the most bumped routes based  on the input we receive from people using our app. This will help travelers avoid these routes. 

Why I need You?
I need to raise funds to help complete the final development of the app.  We are developing the app for Apple and Android. If we raise $6,000  over our funding goal we will also develop the  app for Microsoft smartphone.

Am I the right person to get it done?

YES. I have been creating software for eighteen years. Recently I have completed a smart phone app called ZinkUz. ZinkUz is an enterprise app that connects random people together within an organization. I have the skills, resources, and  contacts to get this app done.

How it all began...

Several weeks ago, my family and I arrived on time from South Africa to  Washing DC airport. After we cleared customs, we were instructed to head over to the gate to check-in. We had already been up for over 24 hours. My wife was exhausted from the 20 hour flight from South Africa. As we handed the gate person our boarding ticket he said, you've been bumped, "You're not getting on this flight, the flight is overbooked." 

I kindly reminded him that I booked my tickets four months ago. There were several irate people who were very vocal about getting bumped. The gate agent said he would give us each(my wife, me and my son) $150 in travel vouchers and some food vouchers.

The plane took off without us and three other people(they all had seat assignments). None of us volunteered to give up our seats. I went to the gate agent and said, I'm not happy with what you're offering. A few minutes later he arrived with yellow tri-fold contract. I read through it thoroughly I said, "have you read this?". I looked at him and said, you owe more more than $150.

To make a long story short. The following day I cashed $3,900 in checks from the airline. When I went to Chase, they didn't recognize the check. So they checked the computer and found  checks that matched the $1300 amount. 

I was able to get the other bumped people $550, $950, and $1000 in checks...not travel vouchers. Also, nobody knew about the policy. The employees at the gate,the other bumped passengers, the dozen people I spoke to later that day, the people in the bank did not know about the reimbursement mandated by law. Nobody knew about the policy. With your generous donation, this is all about to change.
