The Kayrank Helmet Rank System is a military grade, durable, tactical device used to identify the rank of the individual wearing the Kevlar Helmet. The patented design is a rank device that snaps into the Night Vision Device (NVD) bracket on the Army Combat Helmet (ACH). The device can be easily removed when the NVD’s require reattachment.
The idea was borne through my numerous military deployments that found Soldiers were unable to display their rank on their helmet due to the mandatory wear of the NVD bracket. In addition to not wearing the rank on the helmet, the rank on the Soldier’s uniform was often times obscured by secondary protective gear. This subdued device ensures a Soldier/Airman/Marine can be identified while wearing the helmet.

The rank design was tested in a deployed combat environment. The first designs of the rank were tested to ensure they fit in all NVD brackets and were also tested on their durability and ability to be identified at different ranges.
The subdued design allows the wearer to be identified from ten meters or less and is not readily identified at farther distances in order to eliminate unwanted attention.
The device is a one piece construction with no moving parts. Nothing to break.
The rank can easily be removed and stored while the Soldier dons his NVD’s.
At this time I have designed and produced two individual Army ranks. This is where I need the assistance. If I can get enough pre-ordered I can make all of the ranks since each injection mold carries significant costs. There are more ranks to be produced including ranks for other services and civilian counterparts required to wear tactical gear.
The peak population of the Active Duty United States Army is 547,000 personnel. This is not accounting for the Reserves, National Guard, Marines, Air Force personnel or civilian SWAT members who may also benefit from the rank system.
Made in U.S.A.
I already have a United States Company lined up to start production, so I need the final push. By funding my project, you will be pre-ordering KAYRANK and kickstarting our first production run of units.
Finally, I have worked for a long time on producing this product from getting my patent approved all the way to working with the injection mold company to produce a product that works and that Soldiers want. This product will be an asset to all uniformed military personnel. Thank you for your help.
