Christine Sinclair was just fined $3500 and suspended for four games by FIFA for comments she made after a hotly contested game at the Olympics. If you feel this is grossly unfair and would like to help pay this fine as a show of solidarity with both Sinclair and the Canadian women's national soccer team, please help by donating. Yes the CSA will likely pay this fine on Christine's behalf. The point is that they should n't have to and there's much better ways for CSA funds to be spent than on ridiculous fines handed out by FIFA

Usually, there are perks associated with fundraising efforts like this. There are none with this one. Give because it's an opportunity to support Christine Sinclair, the Canadian National Women's team and because it's just another way to say thank you for the thrilling Olympic Games performance that we were all able to participate in as fans

If we don't reach the $3500 goal, I've selected the option that lets us keep what is raised minus the 9% that indiegogo.com keeps. If we reach our goal, Indiegogo keep must 4%.

But serioulsy, if we cannnot raise $3500 in 30 days for Christine Sinclair there's a bigger problem than the actual fine and suspension we need to address.
