That’s the story of Super Knocked Up - an action/comedy web series about a female super-villain who gets knocked up by a superhero.  Hi!  My name's Jeff Burns.  I’m the writer/director of the series.  This is a totally new take on the superhero genre.  And one that’s really worth watching.  My amazing cast and crew have done an incredible job making a funny, dramatic, and action-packed series!

Our show has received almost 2 million views to-date and viewership continues to grow every day! You can watch Season 1 of Super Knocked Up right now at www.superknockedup.com.  I know you’ll really dig it!

We’re ready to entertain you with additional seasons of Super Knocked Up and share the full story of Jessica and Michael (aka Darkstar and Captain Amazing).  To do that, we need your help.  We’re looking to raise funds which will allow us to produce Season 2 of Super Knocked Up.  It takes a super-heroic effort to make a web series.  Here’s a short list of some of the expenses your contribution will help fund:

- Fly our super-awesome lead actress Jourdan in from LA (flight isn’t one of her super-powers)

- Make/Buy Props and Costumes (superheroes gotta look good when they fight crime)

- Purchase booths at Comic Book Conventions to promote the series (geek out!)

- Buy hard drives to store all the amazing looking HD footage (HD baby!)

- Feed my amazing cast and crew (they’re working for free; the least I can do is feed them)

- Conduct experiments to give ourselves superpowers (okay, I made this one up – where’s a radioactive spider when you need one?) 

We will only spend your money on what is absolutely necessary to make Season 2 look amazing and be even more awesome than Season 1.  In fact, every single cast and crew member is working for free on this project.  And that includes some incredibly talented and experienced people.  They’re doing it because they believe in our project.  I believe in our project.  I hope you will too.

The Comic Book: POW!  KABAM!

Guess what?  Super Knocked Up is not only a live-action web series – it’s also a comic book!  Hooray!  You can check out a few awesome pages from Issue 1 of the comic right here: www.superknockeup.com/comic-book  Our comic book is drawn by an amazingly talented artist: Donny Gandakusuma.  It’s so awesome to see his interpretations of the characters I created.  The comic book contains even more action and backstory than the web series.  But, of course, making a comic book also costs money.  So donated funds will also be used to keep the Super Knocked Up comic going for Issue 2 and beyond!
