An incredible Endeavor

From the files of the online paranormal powerhouse the SCP Foundation, "Stairwell" is a Sci-Fi thriller written by Christine "Zaeyde" Pawlowicz and adapted to the screen by Screenwriter Taha Omer and Director Ryan Franzman. It tells the tale of the errant investigation into the unknown, as well as, the better known darkness of our own nature.

"Ryan and I spoke at length about my process behind writing the article, with the goal of the film staying as true to the article as possible. After reviewing the screenplay, I am happy to say that it does indeed stay true, and any creative liberties they have taken stay true to the spirit of the article.
I am excited to see the article come to life on screen. It has taken on a life of its own in the minds of its readers, and it is out of my hands now. I wish Ryan and his crew the best of luck, and may they always look over their shoulder when ascending a shadowy stairwell."
 
 
 

Synopsis -

 

The shadowy and enigmatic SCP Foundation has discovered an infinite staircase. As is their norm they quarantine the area and send in a research team headed by Dr.(REDACTED). He wastes no time beginning testing, sending three ill equipped test subjects recruited from the nearest prison into the abyss and autopsying whats left -alive or otherwise.

 

Why We Need You

This film has four principal and twelve supporting characters. With the genre, there is no doubt a substantial amount of special effects to capture in the lens, as well as, add during post production. We need a stunt/action coordinator, set designers and fabricators, make-up and wardrobe as they are all big parts of bringing this story to life and cost money.

The Impact

This project is the dawn of a new beginning for the SCP foundation. The hard work and creativity of its content writers and administrators is ready to be transformed into the visual medium of film and this project is one of the first to do so. We intend to do it as professionally as it deserves in all its splendor; one dollar at a time.
 
And one connection at a time.

That's right, dollars may be important, but not as important as your help in spreading the word about the SCP, its fantastic stories, contributors, and yes, this film.
