Thank you for visiting our page! Spook Show Entertainment is a growing
production company with a very bright future in 2012 and a lot of opportunity
beyond that. Beginning originally as a
charity production company before leading into film festival promotion and
management company (now handling 6 annual film festivals), the company decided
to expand into film production in 2011.
With very limited resources, the company partnered with another Illinois
production company and completed work on the award-winning short film Headline
News. It was an eye-opening experience
completing the films, and both partners Willy Adkins and Jason Sullivan knew
this was just the beginning. At this
time, there are plans to direct and produce 4 new short films, and a
full-length documentary is half-way to completion. Full-length feature films will follow.
Believe Me (Feature) is a paranormal documentary about the personal believes of paranormal investigators and what keeps them motivated to work in the field of the unknown. Special Guest appearences include The Illinois Ghost Hunters, Ursula Bielski (Author), The Chicago Paranormal Detectives (Stars of A&E's Hit Series "Paranormal Cops") and Donna LaCroix (Star of SyFy's "Ghost Hunters" & "Ghost Hunters International")!
Hellbillies (Feature) is a Horror / Comedy staring Justin Romine and Willy Adkins about a couple of back woods hillbillies on a mission for destruction with no remorse after they encounter a sinister southern belle pushing them to the dark side.
No Love For Troy (Short) is a Comedy / Drama. "Troy" is a quiet guy with two very different roommates. His biggest desire in life is to one day call the beautiful "Casey" his lady. A low self esteem is only part of his problems in this comedic love story staring Michael Schmid, Juan R., Willy Adkins, Stuart R. Wahlin.
Bacon (Short) is a look at the sinister and sizzling desires of Jade (Kelsey Zukowski), a struggling addict. Bacon consumes her every thought. Her obsession and infatuation begins affecting her health, relationships, and day-to-day life. Her boyfriend, Jackson (Jason Sullivan) and her meddling ex-roommate, Aubrey (Tina Renee Grace), decide to take drastic measures in getting her clean by depriving her of the thing she needs most. Jade’s withdrawal puts her in a desperate and dark place. Will she get clean or is her intimate love for bacon the strongest weapon of all?
What We Need & What You Get
Spook Show Entertainment is seeking a total investment of $5,000. This will go to fund cameras, audio equipment, and software which will allow us to complete all 5 films currently in our plans. Thus far we have been able to complete our work thanks to the help of other production companies and filmmakers that we maintain close relationships with. We need to have stronger flexibility as an independent, stand-alone company, and a lack of current funding is hindering our ability to do so. Although we know the amount being asked for is large for an Indie-GoGo campaign, we are offering generous incentives towards some and/or all of our 5 planned projects. The value of your contribution will go far beyond these films though. You will be making a very valuable contribution to the future of Spook Show Entertainment, which is well on its way to being a premiere film production company in the growing film scene in northern Illinois.
Other Ways You Can Help
