We need your help!
Post-traumatic stress disorder, or PTSD, has been one of the most tragic, but least avoidable, consequences of the armed conflicts in Vietnam, Irag and Afghanistan and it has had a profound effect on the lives of many of the bravest men and women who fought in those wars.
There have been numerous attempts, employing a variety of methods, to try to relieve some of the suffering that these vets undergo after their return home. Some have been more successful than others.
One of the more promising methods of treatment has been Virtual Reality Therapy, or VRET. The video component of Virtual Reality Therapy has been around for a while now and, over time, has demonstrated its ability to ease the stress of returning war vets who suffer PTSD.
However, until now there's been no way to construct the audio component of that virtual reality experience so that the Soldier not only "sees" what's happening but "hears" and "feels" what's happening as well. We have a solution. It's called Sound in 3D.Partnered with Sound In 3D, VRET becomes a total theraputic experience.
“I suffered with PTSD for over 5 years. In the last two months, since I started using Sound In 3D, my flashbacks are gone, my nightmares have vanished, my sleep is better, I am no longer anxious, and I’m able to get through the day without thinking about, or being bothered by, my experiences in Iraq. For the first time in a very long time, I have hope again for my future.” Alan Lane, Iraqi War Veteran
Sound In 3D Is Easy To Use
Sound In 3D is a high tech speaker system that plugs into your Ipad, laptop, TV or any place where you would plug in speakers. It is mobile and inexpensive. You simply plug in Sound In 3D, put your hands on the speakers, relax and enjoy your favorite music, movie, streaming video or video game.
The Sound In 3D technology is so versitle that it can be used in chairs, pillows, hand grips for gamers, and even socks or blankets. The uses and applications are endless.
How Sound in 3D Can Help
My name is Rita Crompton. For many years I have helped inventors license their new intellectual property. However, Sound In 3D has given me a cause to get truly passionate about. Sound In 3D is a truly remarkable technology in that it supplements and enhances the normal 3D visual experience by permitting the viewer to not only "see" what's happening, but to "hear" and "feel" it as well. Thus, it's ideal for use in VRET therapy and in aiding Soldiers or anyone suffering from PTSD. If you are curious about how Sound In 3D helps, please see the additional videos by Iraq War Vet, Alan Lane, and Dr. Gary Martin, MD, both of which appear in the "Gallery" section of this website.
What is Sound In 3D?
The Inventor, Robert LeDonne, developed a technology that turns sound into a digital impluse that you can feel. Now you can experience sound not only through listening but through your sense of touch as well. These prototypes are rough mobile versions. We need funding for the engineering of the manufacturable versions.
We have all heard about PTSD and feel a great sense of gratitude for what our Soldiers have given to us and to our country. All of us know there is a huge number of Soldiers coming home who are or will be suffering from the trauma of being in a war zone. However, most of us will never understand the impact of PTSD on a Soldier’s life. With Sound In 3D, we can finally help our Soldiers. Whether used in conjunction with traditional VRET, or in a standalone way all by itself, Sound In 3D offers a non-invasive, non-drug approach to helping our troops in the field and after they return home with the stress and trauma of war.
What We Need & What You Get
We can’t undo the war or the need for our troops to be there in our stead, but we can show our support and offer some relief with Sound In 3D. THAT IS WHAT THIS CAMPAIGN IS ALL ABOUT! We need your help, in the form of donations, to get Sound In 3D into the hands of our Soldiers.
Not only can you help our troops, the perks being offered will give you the chance to have first access to some of the best new products in the market place. The perks we're offering include a variety of new inventor products along with the chance to honor your favorite Soldier by being able to vote for your favorite VA hospital or receiving a coupon for a discount on the purchase price of the finished product when Sound In 3D hits the market.
When we hit our campaign goal, it will allow us to have the sexy, mobile prototype made.
Our goal is to manufacture as soon as possible or to license our patented technology to a company that will quickly manufacture the units so that anyone and everyone can buy his/her own. Eventually, these units will range from small, mobile and inexpensive to the more elaborate version in the entertainment centers. For right now, our goal is to have the units small enough so that you can ship one to your favorite Soldier.
Pick Your Perk
Some of our unique perks include an award winning Great Grips to the first 25 donors of $25 or more.

We can’t do this without YOU! Your donation is truly magical because it means we are one step closer to helping our troops. If there was ever a way to make a difference in an individual soldier’s life, it is Sound In 3D. We have loaded Alan’s testimonial on the site and it is also on YouTube. Listen to his story. You can also hear Dr. Gary Martin talking about the huge potential impact Sound In 3D can have for anyone suffering from the devasting aftermath of a traumatic experience.
