SIREN Baroque

SIREN Baroque is an all-female baroque ensemble from New York City presenting passionate and historically informed performances throughout the States and overseas.  The women of SIREN are committed to infusing spirited historical accuracy with a tinge of modern dynamism.

We are proud to announce that we are going into the studio in February 2013 to record our debut album, "Women All-Stars of the Baroque Era."  This is a project we are truly passionate about - women supporting women and bringing to life these fabulous composers who are rarely heard today.  

This program is special to us because it was the first program we ever performed, on March 11, 2011.  A year later, to the very day, we performed the same program in a 16th-century mill house converted into a concert hall in the beautiful baroque town of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico.  We were also invted to perform selections from this concert for the ARTEK Midtown Concert Series in Feburary 2013. So, as you can see, this music is important to us and we want to share it with as many people as we can! 

Here's what we need YOU for:  The cost of creating a good recording is beyond our budget, even with our wonderful musical friends helping out.  Our budget of $6000.00 is just to cover the basics of space rental, sound recording and engineering, mastering, packaging, printing, and design.  With your TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION, this CAN happen
