After years of work in promoting, hosting, and talent buying for events across the country we set out to create a tool for the electronic music community.
SinLabel is an easy and customizable way for fans, artists, and event creators to manage their online music identities. Edgy design meets convenient functionality in the unique "widget-based" platform, which allows for users to control and determine their experience at any given time. SinLabel takes what is now a vast digital music landscape and pulls it into one exciting yet intuitive interface.
The SinLabel digital platform allows for three different types of users to connect on a social level not seen in the physical world. We ignite a new level of synergy between users by appealing to each of the unique user class’ needs.
Artists get booked, Venues pack out shows, and Fans get rewarded for just being fans! An entire music community working together to put on better shows with the music they love.
We’ve been hard at work building SinLabel from two angles.

SinLabel has proven its concept in our events over the past 18 months. Through our successes buying talent, hosting and promoting; we have gathered a diverse landscape of clientele. Each venue branded towards different sounds allowing us to reach a wide array of fans. We set out to put people in front of the artist they crave and unite them with music that they love.

Fans: Want to find new music, shows, and earn free swag long the way.
Fan users begin by creating a basic user profile, which highlights their preferred genres, geographic location, and age. This simple set of information will launch fan users into their personal SinLabel dashboard, which they start to customize from the ground up via our "widget" catalog. From this catalog, fans can select from a variety of external "widgets" such as SoundCloud, Facebook, Twitter, etc. Internal "widgets" will include the FanFinder (connect with other fans), EventFinder (find new shows), and the ArtistFinder (find new music). Activating any of these widgets (with the addition of authentication where necessary) will immediately enter the user into the SinLabel points network, where fan users will earn points for their activity within each widget.
The SinLabel points network can be broken down into two levels:
Macro (Site Wide): User points across all widgets will be collected and SinLabel based rewards (apparel, exclusive passes, free tickets, etc) will be given at designated intervals.
Micro (Event Specific): Interactions surrounding individual event listings will be collected and measured on a local level, which will allow for fans to be rewarded (by the venue/event directly) based on their actions related to individual event listings within the SinLabel community.
The more users interact with their content, the more points they earn. Fans who are on top of their music game will be measured and compared to one another on a daily basis. Only the most active and relevant, "Tastemakers", earn special benefits and rewards through SinLabel.
The "widget" catalog will continue to grow as new API's are developed and fan needs evolve.
Artists: Want their music to be heard and increase their booking potential.
SinLabel makes getting noticed by both fans and talent buyers easier by connecting the right music with the right people. Artists will grow their digital presence utilizing the SinLabel social network, while still being able to view, manage, and analyze their profiles across most major social media platforms...all within one interface!
Connecting with the right audience exposes artists to new listeners, new locations, and new booking opportunities. It's time to be heard, it's time to get booked, it's time to get paid!
Event Creators: Want to increase event exposure and maximize ROI for every show they put on.
Music brings people together... we bring them to your show. SinLabel is a comprehensive set of tools for the event creator/promoter of the modern era, which takes the limitations of the physical promotion/production world and tosses them out the window.
Minimize the risk of buying talent with SinLabel's comprehensive analytics packages. Talent buyers are able to view what talent is most popular according to geographic location in real-time, “the pulse”.
With the SinLabel digital platform, show promotion goes beyond the limitations of your everyday street team. Fan users become promoters as they earn points for engaging with listed events. Every tweet, comment, like, check-in, etc. is being collected and evaluated by the SinLabel analytics engine. We make fans work for you!
Devices/Platforms: We want to reach everybody!
Our Stretch Goal is $120,000. SinLabel (beta) will launch as a fully responsive web experience in the Fall of 2013. However, the additional funding will allow us to achieve our native mobile efforts which are currently in construction for iOS and Android devices, and we plan on starting a Windows build by the end of 2013. Our mobile approach will allow for even higher levels of fan interaction in real-time.
We are continuously researching the fabric of the live music experience to discover how the SinLabel platform can better serve the electronic music community; with a special focus in expanding and refining our “widget” catalog.

Danny Schwartz, Founder
“As one of the founders of SinLabel I have had the opportunity to make my dreams a reality. Being a part of something bigger than yourself whether it be a company, community or cause, is what gives me the drive every morning to work hard on throwing bigger and better shows for the fans. Equipping artists, venues, promoters and people with the right resources and tools to successfully throw live shows is what we are all about. The idea for Sinlabel was birthed out of my passion and love for music.”
“After traveling the county doing various work from event production to promotion to artist hospitality, I noticed a lot of room for improvements in all areas. Currently working as an architect and project manager, I have a natural passion for problem solving in order to make a seamless final product. I love that we are creating a tool that is going to solve problems and create opportunities for everyone involved.”
Better known as “Sin Daddy”, Klaus brings SinLabel over 20 years of experience launching new businesses both domestically and abroad. Specializing in early-day and later-stage start-ups; Klaus is proficient in commercialization strategizing and company branding.
A native of Berlin, Brett has worked on a variety of digital projects with a diverse clientele ranging from start-ups to fortune 100 companies. Acting as project leader, he specializes in building highly custom websites to cross-platform mobile apps. Additionally, he has been DJing and producing techno and tech house under the guise of “Hans Bitburger”.
Matt brings years of experience in the live music production, promotion and booking industry. Hailing from a family involved in the recording industry, Matt has maintained and managed several portfolios of recording artists. He is a founder of several start-ups with a knack for real estate investment and new product merchandizing.
Kody comes to SinLabel with years of traditional and guerilla marketing experience birthed in a successful career in the action sports industry. The former snowboard pro harbors years of industry experience both as a DJ and an event producer.
Jordan brings SinLabel years of promotional and live event experience and an intimate understanding of the nightlife landscape. Acting as a tastemaker in the Chicago market; event producers both locally and nationwide consult Jordan for advice on wise booking choices.
