Short Summary

My name is Susan.  I'm a single mom.  My daughter has had special needs all through school.  Right now she is attending a therapeutic school and doing well. what this means is I can't work a traditional job.  Since 1997, i've run my own business.  For the past year it's been rough.  I've went through a series of $500 cars but none have been reliable and so I can't get to my shows to make money.  Now 18 days after putting $1200 into one of those $500 cars(And less than two months after putting $3000), another catastrophic failure happened.  I have my largest show of the year at the end of July.  If I can't get to that then there is little hope for my little 15 year old business.

I tried to get a car loan for something reliable but because I've been living a cash only existance for the past three years, I'm self employed,  and before that had a few credit problems the only loans I'm eligible for have $2000+ startup fees plus 25%+ interest.  That would have me paying back $16000 on a $4000 car IF i could pay it back in 4 years.  And the payments would be astronomically high.

I need a helping hand up.  I have supported myself and my daughter for all these years.  Think about those times someone has given you that helping hand that made a huge difference in your life.
