SYNOPSIS: Civilization is at its end. America has been reduced to a land where only a few, strictly-governed communities still exist. All else is Shadowland, where there is no rule of law and where fear is the common denominator of all men. Gil Parsons is a wanderer in that place, wary of the strangers he encounters, as the circumstances of his existence call into question the inherent nature of mankind.

My name is Steven Wesley Miller. I am a professional cinematographer, video editor, and independent film-maker based out of Knoxville, Tennessee. My debut short, Inch of Grace (Cylk Cozart, Linds Edwards) was accepted into the 2012 Nashville Film Festival, and I hope to surpass all previous efforts with my latest project by implementing a dynamic cast and an entirely professional crew.

Linds Edwards (
Walking Dead, Get Low, Vampire Diaries) has already signed-on to play the role of antagonist. We are still in the process of casting our protagonist. Jessica Shipp (Inch of Grace) has signed-on to play the protagonist's daughter.

The film will be shot both in Kingston and in Cosby Tennessee over a four to six day period at the end of February.

Please help us make our humble goal of at least $5,000 so that we can feed our crew and provide them with all the tools necessary to do their job. A Red MX with Zeiss Superspeeds will cost close to $2,000 alone for a one week rental. In addition to that we will need grip and lighting equipment. Please Help us make this film so that we can share it with you! And remember, even if you can't donate any money at the moment, you can still help in a major way by sharing this page with everyone you know and encouraging them to help!

THANK YOU!
