Hello, we are HC3 and we are a small medical marijuana dispensary whose main focus is our patients and their needs. We handle cancer patients daily, Patients who are elderly and disabled, and patients who are suffering from things such as chemotherapy and life threatening diseases.  Medical marijuana is very important to people who suffer from depression, who can’t eat or sleep regularly, and even helps with A.D.D.

     Unfortunately Los Angeles County has recently taken it upon themselves to take a federal standpoint and set a blanket ban on all dispensaries in unincorporated LA County.  They first graced us with their presence when they came in with EDD officials making sure we were up to state standards and all of our employees were paid minimum wage, which they are.  After that they decided to come back with building inspectors and began trying to fine us for problems with the building that were around before we even arrived.  We fixed most of those problems but it put us back a few thousand dollars.  We had assumed that they were going to leave us alone at this point but then they came at us with paperwork stating they were going to fine me 3000 dollars plus 1000 dollars for every day we remained open.   They forced a disabled patient to wait outside and began detaining everyone around and treating everyone like they were criminals.  Their excuse was that it was for their safety and the safety of county officials.  We don’t even have an armed guard on duty.  There was probably one polite official out of the 15 or so people they had brought to harass us. 

     We are friendly with all surrounding businesses who quite frankly are sad to see us go. Since opening they have seen many new customers including ourselves. Patients have vowed to follow us where ever we decide to go.  Our employees have put their heart and soul into seeing that every patient is treated as kindly and professionally as they would at any pharmacy.

     We ask for your help in supporting our move so that we still can provide medicine to those in need. All donations are greatly and sincerely appreciate. From all of us from HC3 we say thank you in supporting our cause.  We are truly a not for profit company.  If we horded all of the profits we have made throughout our lifetime as a company we probably would have enough to move with no problem but we have contributed many of our profits to various charities and expanded local staff whenever we had extra funds to work with as law requires.

What We Need & What You Get!!

     We are shooting for $5000 in funding in order to help with moving and opening a new location. ALL funding will go strictly to the move. We are working daily to figure out what insentives would work best but we can assure you that every person who donates will recieve something from us here at HC3!!

The Impact

     Helping our cause would show that all dispensaries are NOT the same. There are some that are in it to make money.  And there are the little guys like us who truly just want to have a safe alternative to the streets and to watch this industry flourish! Marijuana is medicinal and someone will always need it. Medical marijuana is a safe and proven alternative to over the counter and prescription pain killers that can be addictive or life threatening.
