WHO: "The Twins" - Vivian & Marian Brown.

Legends not only in SF but stars of numerous retail campaigns for companies such as: Virgin Atlantic, Reebok, IBM, and AT&T. You may also have seen the 85 year-old twins during their nightly dinner ritual at Uncle Vitto's Pizza at Bush and Powell.

Recently, the sisters have been separated (for the first time in YEARS) due to Vivian Brown's advancing Alzheimers, which hospitalized her, per her doctor's orders. It's expensive for Marian to travel to spend time with her sister -- so she only gets to visit twice a week.  There is also question as to how they'll fund their housing in these later years.

We've enjoyed their presence and contribution to the San Francisco culture & community for many years, here's your chance to lend a hand.
