Robin Hood: The Lengendary Musical Comedy

Robin Hood: The Legendary Musical Comedy has taken Toronto by storm. Playing to sold-out houses at U of T's Hart House Theatre, it features clever, biting and amusing twists on the familiar legends of Robin Hood and his Merry Men. Irreverent to the core, Robin Hood is tongue-in-cheek entertainment that jabs an accusing finger at the social, political and religious constructs which inform our notions of status and the distribution of wealth.

Created 8 years ago at Shakespeare by the Sea in Halifax, the show has come a long way from its a capella beginnings, and we're hoping to take it even further. To accomplish that, we need to create a high-quality cast recording of the music that we can share not only with our adoring fans, but with interested producers who are thinking about picking up the show. 

Your support on this project will help to promote "one of the best Canadian musicals ever written." (We didn't say that - an audience member did!)

The money raised through this campaign will go towards several aspects of production: 

• Studio time for recording the album
• Engineering and mixing of the recordings
• Production of the CD itself

We're producing this CD to help spread the word about how fantastic Robin Hood really is. The CD will go a long way towards sharing our music with other people. As a thank you, we've got some pretty awesome perks available if you're able to help fund us:
