This video documentary includes actual police dash-cam video and audio of a horrific Pennsylvania State Police beating of an unarmed, non-combative citizen. Other than not stopping when directed, this incident involved no serious traffic violations and was simply the low speed following of a car that would not pull over.
This case involves a New York State resident operating his car just across the border from his New York home in Bradford County Pennsylvania. His name is Robert Leone. Robert has suffered a horrific ordeal, a terrible injustice. And even though most of the trumped up, made up charges against him were either dismissed or he was found not guilty of, Robert continues to suffer as he is still incarcerated more than two years later.
There has been a high level cover up of this entire matter by the Pennsylvania State Police Office of Integrity and Professional Standards as well as the Prosecuting District Attorney of Bradford County Pennsylvania. The Judge who heard this case also appears to have a great deal of culpability as demonstrated by some very biased rulings during Mr. Leone’s trial.
After learning of this, I wanted to do something to help. Most people who see this will feel the same way. But, we think, what can I do? How can I help?
One thing everyone can do is to spread the word, share this story with everyone you possibly can!
OK, what else can I do?
I'm sure Robert could use some money to help fund his defense, seeing as how he hasn't been free to work and earn any for over two years.
I have been hearing all about the Greece, NY Bus Monitor harassment story, and how someone had set up a web site to raise money to send her on vacation. And then hearing how tremendous the outpouring of compassion and support has been, and the unbelievable amount of money that has been raised. So I thought maybe someone could, maybe I could, set up a web site for Robert. So, here I am, and here it is.
Like I said, I'm sure Robert could use some money for his defense. Or, if for nothing else, to help him in getting his life back that was so brutally taken from him.
Update: Just learned that Robert has to pay the prison where he is held for each day he is there. To date he owes over $15,000!
Note: That does not mean that any donations given will be used for that purpose.
All donations will be given to Robert's parents, to use as they best see fit to benefit Robert.
So come on all of you good people out there!
Let's show Robert there is still good in this corrupt world.
Let's show him how much we care! He deserves it!
God Bless You All!
