I Am Riding (part of the way) to Washington Because Biking is Awsome.
I'm riding from Hartford to NYC on Thursday, April 25th, as part of the Ride on Washington. Now in its third year, the Ride on Washington organizes cyclists who have typicallly been disengaged with bike advocacy issues. As part of this ride, I've pledged to raise $500 for PeopleForBikes.org.
Other riders will be contributing their celebrity status or fitness; seeing as I am in pretty miserable shape, I'll shall contribute my greatest skill: complaining about things on the the internet. While donations of all size are welcome, for a mere $20 (or more), I will, in a future Cyclocosm Rantcast, cover a topic of your choosing for precisely 20 seconds.
Major Points for Those of You Who Like Dots
- I'm raising $500
- All of the $500 will go to an awesome organization
- If there is more than $500, the entirety of what is raised will go to said awesome organization
- If you spend $20, you will get me to complain about something for you on the Internet.
- In the event that there is less than $500…PeopleForBikes will still get $500, but more of it will come from me and some HTRWW video that YOU really wanted to watch will instead be secretly be replaced with me complaining about how YOU didn't donate.
Thanks, and let me know if you have questions.
