We're Andrea and Shawn, Brandy and Richard's Aunt and Uncle. But they're more than just relatives, they're our bestfriends, and just all around wonderful people. We're trying to help Richard and Brandy fulfill a dream they're working to make happen. The dream to be parents and have children.
Richard and Brandy were married 12 years ago while Richard was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps. After leaving the Marines Brandy and Richard began to build their home together with the hopes of raising a family together. After many years of trying it was determined that they could not have children of their own. Thus Brandy and Richard decided to become foster parents.
Currently they are caring for two children who are part of a larger group of siblings. Richard and Brandy wish to foster as many of the siblings possible, until the situation becomes more permanent.
While they can afford to provide, nurture, and care for the children, there is an easily solvable "space issue". Brandy and Richards home can only accomadate two children....they need room for two more...and they have a plan to add another bedroom on to their home.
Contributing to our goal will help us provide Brandy and Richard the funds to purchase materials for the addition. This will allow another bedroom to be built, and the siblings to stay together, completing Brandy and Richards dream of having a family while helping children in need.
What We Need & What You Get
Your contribution will provide:
We're seeking $7,500.00 for building cost and materials. Lumber, Insulation, Concrete, Wiring, and Plumbing.
This will complete a family and keep siblings together, who would otherwise be split up, and sent to other homes.
If we don't meet our goal, all the proceeds will be given to the family to provide for the foster children that they are able to adopt, if and when elligible.
Contributing to our campain will...
Help siblings stay together. Strengthening family bonds, and giving two people the chance to be the parents they've always dreamed of being.
