Happy Holidays Re-Nuble supporters!
Austin and I would like to update you on what has been going on since our campaign ended on December 28th. We may not have made our crowdfunding campaign goal but we did create a few great relationships with parties interested in implementing our project in their community. The significant amount of outreach that was created for the crowdfunding campaign resulted in discussions with individuals that have been interested in mitigating their current organic waste management practices. We are delighted to have met these contacts and hope that our continuing discussions actualize into our first project. What a way to bring in the new year, right? We will keep you posted as we hit major milestones, and we are likely going to solicit some feedback as we move forward.
Everyone that selected the $5 perk (i.e., Join the Honor Roll) or the $20 perk (Name Our Baby) will notice their recognition on our website or receive additional communications about the voting process by the end of this week. Those that have selected the $10 perk (Changemaker Re-Nuble sticker) and the $30 perk (Mug and T-shirt combo) will receive them by mid January. Lastly, those that selected the $15 perk (Custom Composting) will receive communications in regards to scheduling by the end of this week. Unfortunately, the $25 perk (Green VIP Access) and the $100 perk (Ribbon Cutting Event) are dependent on when our first project is deployed. As soon as details are confirmed you all will be the first to know so that we can schedule your tour or visit accordingly.
Please shoot me a message on Indiegogo if you have any questions or comments. This has been a humbling experience to write so many thank you emails and to be reminded of the large support for our movement and vision. We feel very grateful to be surrounded by you all.
Best Wishes to You in 2013,
Campaign Update: The Final 16 Hours
The final day of Re-Nuble’s crowdfunding campaign has arrived.
After three months, we have received impressive moral and material support, and are currently just $6 short of hitting the $3,000 mark. With your help, we would like to bust through that $3k barrier and go out with a bang by reaching the fundraising total of $3,500 in the next 16 hours!
As this will be our final Campaign Update, we would like to conclude with one last virtual high-five to all of you, the Re-Nuble grassroots. Our campaign has connected us with 36 (so far!) generous and forward-thinking individuals who believe in social enterprise and community-positive solutions to the problem of excessive food waste. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and promise you that we will continue to develop the Re-Nuble model and bring waste reduction, jobs, organic fertilizer, and green energy to as many communities as we possibly can.
We deeply appreciate your support and hope you will continue to follow Re-Nuble’s growth path as we turn our concept into reality.
We wish you all a happy, healthy, and green 2013!
The Re-Nuble Team
Campaign Update: 40 Hours
Howdy Re-Nuble supporters! With less than 2 days left to make an impact on our crowdfunding campaign your actions will determine our strength in making a difference.
Throughout this campaign, we have received so much support from people who understand the need — many of whom will surely become collaborators. They see that Re-Nuble will bring the power of online communities and in-person collaborations to create cleaner and more prosperous communities as well as healthier food production. We’re committed to make that happen.
Please help us spread the word during this final sprint to the finish line. And thanks for all you have done so far!
Campaign Update: Day 32
Greetings Re-Nuble supporters! Despite some big contributions coming in last week, we fell short of of the $3,749 goal we needed to hit to win a matching donation of $1,000.
Although we haven’t reached all the fundraising totals we would have liked at this point, we have seen more contributions come in over the last two weeks than during the rest of the campaign! Great thanks to all of you who have joined our cause in the last couple weeks.
What we want to do now is finish STRONG. There are 11 days left in the campaign, and even if we don’t achieve our final goal of raising $25k, we’re eager to go out with a bang!
We’re asking for one last push from you, our fellow Re-Nuble campaigners, to get your friends, family, and neighbors informed about and interested in our mission. Re-Nuble is unique in its interconnection with the themes of sustainability, waste reduction, renewable energy, social entrepreneurship, and community activism. If you know anyone with an interest in one or more of those topics, we ask you to send them to the Re-Nuble website or our crowdfunding page; or (in this season of gift-giving) consider honoring them by making a contribution in their name.
We are all deeply appreciative of all the support you’ve lent us so far—we’ve drawn strength and inspiration from your belief in us and the Re-Nuble mission. Please continue your support and help us end this campaign on a high note on December 28.
The Re-Nuble Team
