RAISE THE REWARD CAMPAIGN
This week a terrible and tragic incident occurred on the frozen shores of Prince Edward Island, Canada.
Approximately 50 seals were clubbed mercilessly and left to freeze until they died on the cold Atlantic shores by a mean spirited person(s) who clearly have no regard for animal life.
We, a group of current and former residents of Prince Edward Island are working to increase the current $5000 dollar reward being offered by the Humane Society International.
We are reaching out to everyone around the world to help us increase this reward to encourage a person to come forward who knows the name(s) of the person(s) who committed this act devoid of any human dignity.
As we all know, money talks and we are confident that with enough support we will find justice for those seals who died and in turn send a strong message to those who contemplate such behaviours anywhere in the world.
When we reach our goal of $2500 dollars (or the end of the campaign) we will forward the donation to HSI who have agreed to add it to their current reward of $5000 dollars.
It was negotiated by the founders of this campaign and the HSI that money earned through this campaign will be added to the HSI reward for a period of 12 months. If the criminals are not found within this time, the money will be forwarded to the Prince Edward Island Humane society so that they can continue to do their good work as they see fit.
We have chosen to work with HSI due to their credibility and they are aware of the work we are doing.
It is time for the world to see that animals are not second class citizens.
PLEASE help us. We are trying our best to make a difference.
