SYNOPSIS

Set in the year 2037, PROTOGEN is an intense science fiction, thriller following a team of elite private military contractors on a hunt across Eastern Europe to eliminate two fugitives on the run from a totalitarian global government.

WHO WE ARE

Based in Glasgow, Scotland, ION Studios is a film production company currently producing shorts and features usually for general release. ION Studios also produces series for television and web. Our overarching goal is to help build a better future for the film industry here in Scotland.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

“PROTOGEN” is our latest short film production and so far we have managed to assemble an incredibly talented team of actors, fight choreographers, artists and musicians to help bring this grim, futuristic world to life.

ION Studios is extremely honoured to be teaming up with gurus George Johnston and Mandy Bhari from the 'Hybrid Academy of Martial Arts' to bring ProtoGen's gruelling fight sequences to life. We look forward to sharing more information about the 'Hybrid Stunt Fight Crew' over the coming weeks, giving you a taste of what's to come in the final film.

WHAT WE NEED

ION is looking to raise a budget of $8450 / £5000 approx which will allow us cover the following production costs:

-Costumes

-Props

-Production Equipment

-Catering

-Travel Expenses

-Insurance  

If we can cover each of these areas the production values will go above and beyond our expectations, and help the process of making this short film run like clockwork.

WHAT YOU GET  

In return for your incredible contributions you will all receive a special thanks in our credits and for those who want to donate that little bit extra you will receive digital downloads of the film and soundtrack, DVDs, Blu-rays, art cards, posters and much, much more!
