The Project: Project LIGHT Rwanda is a feature length documentary about the amazing transformation achieved by 12 orphan genocide survivors in Rwanda after participating in a new form of sustainable humanitarian aid. We're documenting the establishment of the world’s first international youth healing, heart-centered leadership and entrepreneurship program based on Tapping – a leading edge self-healing modality. 

This is a story of deep inquiry about how individual healing and transformation can lead to transformation in our world. It’s a journey about what is possible in humanitarian aid when our hearts are open. 

How your money will be used: With your support, we’ve been able to do an amazing amount of work in 5 years with very little resources. We already have 75% of our filming done and now we need $65,000 to finish filming in Rwanda and have the film ready for release by mid-January. Your money will go toward production, editing, and appeals for the additional funds to complete the project. We will keep you posted on our progress every step of the way, including field reports from Rwanda at the end of September when we return for final filming and further training with our Project LIGHT Ambassadors.

INSPIRATION FOR OUR WORK: Since 2007 our small, all-volunteer organization, Create Global Healing has conducted trauma healing work with thousands of orphan genocide survivors in Rwanda. The power of Tapping has helped us facilitate profound results. But we knew that trauma healing wasn’t enough so we created Project LIGHT: Rwanda to nurture a whole new generation of young people who are able to heal, work and lead us into a peaceful future. 

During our last trip to Rwanda this past May, we were overwhelmed with incredible joy and awe at the truly miraculous transformations we witnessed. In just one year our first 12 Project LIGHT Ambassadors have transformed their own despair and grief into love, compassion and joy. They have influenced the lives of thousands more by teaching Tapping in their communities as well as becoming elected and appointed leaders in local government positions. Now, just as important, they are finding their way out of poverty by developing self-sustaining microfinance businesses.
