Check out what people in Times Square had to say in our second video.
Let's be honest...
... In today’s fast-paced world, there simply aren’t enough hours in the day between work, family, and your fantasy draft to sit down and attend a town hall meeting by your congressman, union, club, etc. Most of us don't even know our elected officials, let alone write to them. Project Engage sets out to help remedy this problem with the mobility and convenience of your mobile device. With patent-pending Project Engage technology, your verified opinion can be heard by your leaders in government (or other organizations that you're a part of) all on one easy-to-use app. Finally, an app for personal democracy!
What is Project Engage in a nutshell?
This patent-pending invention is the world's first civic engagement and feedback management platform. One app to make democratic participation easier than ever (town, state, country, membership groups, workplace, whatever). No noise, no bull - just the information and opportunities you need to have your voice heard.
Imagine a world where you vote or give feedback to the leaders in your life – your governments, chamber of commerce, union, professional association, or any other membership organization you’re in – with the tap of a finger on your smart phone. You can learn more about the issue at hand, raise common concerns, see how friends or colleagues are voting on the same question, add comments to your tapped response, and share with social networks, among several other features that help you drive change in a whole new way. Learn more below and in our gallery.
This is an opportunity to make a difference and to help shape the world around you, but we need your help. We can’t do it alone. Please make a contribution - every dollar counts!
Why do we need your help?
As a free product designed by the people, for the people, the foundation needs to be funded by the people to make sure there is no political bias or inappropriate focus on profits. Since it's free, we don't have much we can give away in terms of rewards, but we promise that Mom's Mac and Cheese recipe is worth the $10!
What does my contribution go toward?
Every cent of your generous and appreciated donation will go directly towards creating the foundational technology needed to help fuel the fire of change we’re attempting to spark. Our goal of $50,000 will cover our back-end server, in addition to helping create the initial version of our Android and iPhone mobile app. Please e-mail us with any additional questions.
What are some cool people saying?
"This is absolutely brilliant." - Dr. Gerald Suarez, former Clinton/Bush White House Director of Presidential Quality
"This could revolutionize how Americans communicate with their leaders and how our leaders communicate with their constituents. In short, democracy for the people." - Justin Braz, former Chief of Staff in NJ State Assembly
"Project Engage is one of those unique ideas that, when applied to our current business toolkit, may just become the thing we end up using the most." - Keith Lowy, Business Owner
"This is the future of community organizing." - Bret Castillo, Organizer for LEROF/LIUNA
Who are we and what do we do?
The debt limit debacle of 2011 inspired our founder to research ways he could make a difference. When nothing effective could be found, he set out to create Project Engage to change the way we interact with our leaders so that the silent majority could break through the noise and be heard. American Civix Technologies (ACT) was born.
ACT enables individuals and groups to easily and effectively participate in democracy so that they may improve the quality of life in their communities through political and non-political means. We provide next-generation civic engagement technology that is accessible, sustainable, and critical for informed citizen activism. Our innovations support interaction with officials, organization and expression of social movements, and access to the fundamental resources of any 21st century democracy.
We are proud to have equal support from Democrats, Republicans, and Independents, and equal representation on our all-volunteer Board of Directors. Please join this movement to bring community involvement into the 21st century! Any contribution helps! Thank you!
